Take a morning sailing from Oban to Mull. Largely dependent on the traditional industries of agriculture, fishing, forestry, whisky and tourism, the Isle of Mull is only 30 miles long yet has over 300 miles of dramatic coastline, sandy beaches, woodland and many mountains including Ben More, which, at 3,169 feet, is the second highest mountain in the Hebrides.
Iona and Staffa: Take the A848 along the coast and lochs to Fionnphort to catch the ferry to historic Iona or visit Fingal’s Cave on nearby Staffa. Return to catch the evening ferry and dinner at the George Street Fish Restaurant.
Duart Castle – Home of the Chief of the Clan MacLean. This imposing 13th century castle situated on a craggy peninsula on Mull is well-restored and visitors can explore hundreds of years of Scottish history. The castle is also host to various events throughout the year such as historical re-enactments, international clan gatherings and traditional Highland cultural events.
Tobermory Distillery- Situated within the centre of Tobermory, this famous distillery is known for producing the Ledaig and Tobermory single malts, both of which are available in our Restaurant.
